about

Tangiers, Morocco, just a few miles over the sea from Spain, is home to thousands of refugees from Morocco and all over West Africa. Anarchist Folk-punk musician Raz O'Connor went there in November 2015 to record music with some of them, a band of West African refugees called Diaspora. The Album is a mixture of their music with various Irish rebel songs and covers of other anarchist folk-punk artists. All profits from this album will go to Interzone Voices, an organisation based in Tangiers which aims to get the voices of refugees in Tangiers heard by more people. See Interzonevoices.com for more information and music
